RPTM 101: Course provided an exploration into multiple career fields within Recreation Services. This course allowed me to gain a basic understanding of which field I am interested in. 

RPTM 120: This course introduced how leisure and health are connected. The course provided me with a basic understanding of how leisure effects individual and social health. 

RPTM 236: This course provided an in-depth look at group dynamics, leadership, and decision making skills. Through our class project I gained a better understanding of these skills in regards to recreation services. 

RPTM 300Y: This course provided an understanding of recreation as it relates to the tourism industry. I gained  better understanding of tourism as a concept. 

RPTM 370: A glimpse into arena and facility management. I gained knowledge of the complex skills required to manage an arena. 

RPTM 390: Examine how governmental systems play a role in recreation at every level. 

RPTM 394:  Prepare important documents and information in anticipation of an internship. 

RPTM 415:  Gain a better understanding of management processes and how they apply to businesses with recreation and tourism services. 

RPTM 433W: Gained an understanding of problem-solving and decision making. Provided me with the ability to understand an implement research in recreation services. 

MGMT 215: Provided me with entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Gave me the opportunity to create a hypothetical business idea. 

RPTM 456: Provided me with the skills necessary to help plan and implement a prom for a large group of active adults. 

RPTM 495A: A 12 week internship with the Chestnut hill Youth Sports Club.
